Amy DeFelice is a highly driven human resources executive with an impressive track record, bringing 20 years of invaluable HR leadership experience and proven organizational development expertise.
In her role at the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI), she will be responsible for effectively managing the HR functional capabilities while implementing an IBRI career path framework, overseeing talent acquisition efforts and ensuring the development and retention of a high-performing workforce.
Before arriving at the IBRI, she spent 18 years at Eli Lilly and Company in various HR and business leadership roles, such as discovery chemistry, global medical and thought leader capabilities. She has other experience building all HR capabilities from the ground up at SGI, where she was the chief HR officer for two years. Her latest HR endeavors brought her to Linde, where she was a strategic HR business partner for the global atomization business unit.
She resides in Zionsville, Ind., with her husband, Thomas. The couple has four adult children: Libbi (26), Ricardo (24), Sebastian (22) and Annabelle (20); their beloved 17-year-old Maltese dog, Ms. Lilli Belle, and two rescued cats, Max and Nini. She is passionate about traveling, art and living a healthy lifestyle.
