Sylvia Robertson is a researcher working at the intersection of data science and biology. In her role, she helps to empower science through applied bioinformatics analysis, bioinformatics pipeline implementation, novel bioinformatics tool development and novel biomarker and therapeutic discovery.
Prior to joining the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI), Robertson worked at TELUS International AI Data Solutions, where she worked to create new AI tools and assessed online content for potential harm.
She also has two first-place finishes - one for a competition to design an interactive Esports web application and another during a bio-hackathon that encouraged tool development using multi-omics datasets. For a full list of Robertson's published research, click here.
