The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) is dependent upon the generosity of public and private donors to support our mission. The gifts we receive lead to powerful discoveries that defeat disease and give hope to patients that new therapies could soon be available to improve their lives.
Our scientists are passionate about addressing some of the most challenging biomedical problems, including pediatric rare diseases, Alzheimer's disease and diabetes. They are inspired by the patients who are living with these conditions and are eager to provide those patients with a brighter future. A future that includes a better treatment, a cure or even prevention of a disease ever taking hold. This future is possible with your donation.
The Institute was formed around an idea of engagement and collaboration – a concept that helps us drive innovation and leverage the substantial research capabilities of our collaborators. As a result, the IBRI can spend less on infrastructure and instead focus more dollars on discovery.
Ways to Give
Your gift will help our scientists identify new therapies, create new diagnostic tools and improve patient health.
Gifts of Securities
Gifts of appreciated, marketable stock or mutual fund shares provide substantial support for the IBRI and may offer you important tax benefits. Rather than selling appreciated securities and donating the proceeds, there may be an advantage in transferring them directly to the IBRI. To make a gift of securities, please contact Michele Sawyer, chief financial officer, at msawyer@indianabiosciences.org.
Planned Legacy Gifts
If you would like to make a significant donation to the IBRI to help further our mission, you may want to consider a gift made through your will or trust.
Real Estate
Donating property can be a tax effective way for you to make a gift to the IBRI.
Gifts-in-kind
Giving materials and equipment to the IBRI is another way you can help keep our innovative research moving forward.
